Taking A Fence

I spent some time staining the fence behind where the greenhouse will stand, with the new green stain. This will eventually be used on all the wooden fencing (and any other woodwork, like raised beds), but this bit would be difficult to get to once the greenhouse is constructed, hence painting it beforehand.


I spent the rest of the evening, accompanied by Peggy, watering the allotment plot with a hose. After the hot weather we've been having, it was a relief to see the plants still alive when I got there.
