The plants seem to be growing fast, probably because of the very hot, sunny weather recently. Several already have flower buds, and the Cheyenne plants have flowers and a couple of tiny green fruits.
Some of the varieties are supposed to be good for over-wintering, and I hope to give that a try (after failing last year by forgetting to water my fatalii plant!). It seems Friar's Hat, Orozco, Aji Brazilian Bonanza, Fatalii, Hot Lemon and Zimbabwe Bird are all worth trying, so I'll have to see how many I can bring indoors at the end of the season! Over-wintering will give a plant that fruits earlier and more heavily the next year, as it's already established.
